IS ANOSTYLE AVAILABLE INTERNATIONALLY?

AnoStyle is now available internationally in over 50 countries including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Italy, Spain, Russia, the United Kingdom, and several more.

HOW LONG DOES THE ANOSTYLE PROCESS TAKE?

While we try to return your devices back to you as quickly as possible, the AnoStyle process can take up to 2 (two) weeks total. This does not count transit time and we can not be responsible for any delays caused by the shipper. It could certainly be in your hands a lot sooner, we just like to set expectations properly.

AnoStyle is a custom process and most of it is done by hand. We also check for quality and make sure your device is in absolutely perfect working condition before shipping it back out. This takes time.

Express shipments will arrive faster and return to you faster than standard shipping. If you're concerned about getting your device back as quickly as possible, we recommend using one of the faster shipping methods we offer to cut down on the amount of time your device is out of your hands.

DO YOU REPLACE ANY PARTS DURING THE ANOSTYLE PROCESS?

No. AnoStyle is a color service offering and we utilize your genuine parts during our process. The device you send in to us is the exact same one you receive back - part for part and component for component. This maintains the integrity of your device.

IS ANOSTYLE A PAINT OR A WRAP?

It is none of those. AnoStyle uses our own unique method of color anodization to alter the color and lock it in.  It is a permanent color change and expression of style.  By not just painting or wrapping your device, AnoStyle allows you to maintain the original size and feel of your device.

HOW DO I PROPERLY CLEAN MY ANOSTYLE'D DEVICE?

Any non-acidic cleaner should be fine. Rubbing alcohol and many common screen cleaners should be okay as long as they don't contain any de-greasing agents, ammonia, or acids. We also recommend trying just a small amount of water or mild dish soap on an LCD cloth. A very tiny amount will do the trick.

DOES THE ANOSTYLE PROCESS AFFECT RESALE VALUE TO SITES LIKE GAZELLE?

The AnoStyle process is unique, and we have heard of customers fetching a high dollar amount for a resold AnoStyle iPhone 5 or iPad mini on eBay and other auction sites.

As far as trade-in programs, the official word from Gazelle is that it will NOT affect your trade-in or buy back values since we do not replace any parts during the process.

We have reached out to other reseller sites for official words from them as well and we'll update when we know more.

CAN I BUY JUST A BACK OR SEND MY BACK IN TO YOU?

No. We do not sell backs. We utilize the original back on your phone during the AnoStyle process. Therefore, there are no backs to sell.

We also do not allow you to send in just a back. We need to make sure the device is in proper working order before sending it back and customers sending in raw backs does not allow us to do this. We don't want you to run into problems while disassembling and/or reassembling. Sending it to us ensures it is done correctly.

ARE THE SHIPPING LABELS GENERATED INSURED?

Yes. Each and every label we generate via UPS or USPS are insured for $1,000 both ways. This means if something were to happen to your device and it were to get lost, damaged, or stolen during transit - you can file a claim with the respective shipper. While we do this as a convenience to you, it is your responsibility to file the claim if something goes wrong, not ours.

A signature is also required on ALL AnoStyle packages and we will not waive the signature upon delivery under any circumstance so make sure you ship your device back to a location that someone will be available to sign for it. We do this for your protection.

DO YOU OFFER ANOSTYLE ON ANY OTHER DEVICES NOT LISTED?

At this time, we only offer AnoStyle for the iPhone 5 and iPad mini. As we add more devices to our list, they will appear on our website.

WILL ANOSTYLE WEAR OFF OVER TIME?

Anodization is durable and should not wear over time.  It should hold up to normal wear and tear better than traditional processes as long as you take good care of your device.  Dropping or mishandling your device can still cause damage but when it comes to normal use, AnoStyle will hold up better than other color treatment options and the paint services that other companies offer.

CAN I ANOSTYLE MY DEVICE MORE THAN ONCE?

Yes, we can perform the AnoStyle process on a device more than once.

WILL IT MATTER IF MY DEVICE HAS DENTS OR SCRATCHES IN THE CASE BACK?

Any dents or deep scratches in the aluminum will remain through the AnoStyle process because we use your original components. However, it is likely that the overall appearance may actually be improved as the dents and scratches will be uniformly colored like the rest of the aluminum during the AnoStyle process. 

There's a great chance your device will come back to you looking better than at the time it was sent in if it had some nicks or scratches.

CAN I CHANGE MY WHITE OR BLACK PART (GLASS) ON MY DEVICE WITH ANOSTYLE?

Unfortunately, we are not authorized to change out or sell any case backs or components that contain trademarks or logos that are not our own. This means that we use your original parts during the process and therefore, we cannot offer you a different color from the black or white part that already exists on your device.

We actually prefer this method as using your original parts maintains the high integrity and quality that was intended. Non-original backs can not only fit incorrectly but cause technical issues. Using your original back is one of the ways we maintain a high level of quality throughout the process. 

DOES ANOSTYLE VOID MY MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY?

In short, yes. Any modification, like AnoStyle, typically voids your manufacturer’s warranty as well as any extended warranty you may have purchased. If you still decide to use the AnoStyle service, we can offer you affordable repair options through The Pod Drop if you do ever run into issues with your device. CAN I GET ANOSTYLE IN A DIFFERENT COLOR THAN WHAT IS OFFERED VIA THE WEBSITE?

We’re always on the lookout for new and creative color combinations but what we have listed is what we have available. That certainly doesn’t mean that we aren’t open to suggestions. If you’ve got a killer color idea, send us your ideas. We're also constantly testing new colors, so stay tuned!

CAN YOU OFFER CUSTOM COLORS OR BRANDING OPTIONS?
